Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks in the country, was founded in 1876 and was the site of the 1904 World’s Fair. Today, Forest Park offers a broad range of leisure activities including golf, tennis, racquetball, and handball. Kayak and paddleboat rental are available at the boathouse. Additionally, there is an ice-skating rink on the ground of the park as well as trails for rollerblading. The trails through the scenic park are perfect for bird watching, nature walks, and running. The park also has bicycle trails.
